Wyoming Snow and other thoughts

Hello family!
We got snow (and wind) in Wyoming recently! Did anyone else have winter arrive?
Tomorrow my third boy turns 9 so we will have a little party here. My mother, Stella, and her husband since January, John, arrived in Wyoming and have already headed up to Montana to visit my sister Shari and her family. They will be back in Wyoming at the end of the week.

General Conference was so great...I love all of it but the line that keeps running through my head is..."Well managed families don't pay interest, they earn it." Of course, I've heard variations of that theme over and over but it really struck me this time. So I'm making that my goal to make sure that every action I take from now on in family finances leads us in the direction of being well managed. That will take some time, with a house payment, four kids, a school teacher's salary and today's economy, but that's my goal...to be a "well managed family".
