Stutz Wiki experiment

Ok all, lets see how technological we all are. I was thinking that it might be kind of fun to have a family "wiki," where we can collect all the stories and histories that so many of us have floating around in our minds about the family. I went ahead and organized a very bare-bones wiki on our family webpage.

I have put basically nothing in it - I just wanted to see if I could even get it started. But it is up and running, and I have to say I think that it could be pretty cool. Obviously people who have dinged around with Wikipedia (I'm talking to you, people under 30!) might be more at ease with the editing format, but it is pretty straight forward once you try it a few times.

Anyways, it is located at http://www.stutzfamily.com/wiki/ and is open to all for editing. Please do not take any of what I've put there as "must remain in place" info - I just wanted to make sure it could be done. I figure that, if we put our collective minds together, we can come up with something special. Unlike regular Wikipedia, I think it is perfectly acceptable for people to create and add to their own pages, so have fun!

Good idea but what do I do? I need somebody to walk me through step by step to tell me how to submit, read, add or edit. Thanks. --Ellen

Hi Ellen -
I've put up some starter "step by step" instructions at the wiki site itself for you to try.

I'll put my email contact there to so you can email questions directly to me also. I'd love for this to happen, and am very willing to help!
