Christmas: Date 2008
This year our “letter” is something quite silly
An ode to our favorite little one; Millie.
In the summer we went to the beach of San Diego
And when she saw the ocean she exclaimed “Wah- dooo!”
Her two favorite things now are “Santa” and “Dad”
But “Mommy” and “shoe” she doesn’t think are too bad.
She loves to go for rides in the “car”
And while she’s out she sees the “sars.”
To the glow of Christmas “ball”s shining in the night
She points and exclaims “ooooh is a liiigh!”
For ear, “lala” is the word that she says
From Grandpa, that is the French word, “la oreille.”
We wonder just how often she can say “no”
But melt when she points to the ground and says “now(s)!”
Millie really loves The One who makes this time Christmas,
And likes to remind us it’s all about “Jeeshush.”
