Well it's good to hear from you all. While Susan is enjoying the Forsynthia, Crocii and playful ducks, the west coast is warming up rapidly. yesterday we hit 96 degrees and the Forsynthia has all but burned out it's bloom. Now I just have to deal with a farm full of weeds, a broken down lawn mower, and a herd of alpacas that eat the nice grass and leave all the weeds.
Michael (20) is still in Korea. After complaining about living in our small town, he's starting to miss us (and who wouldn't?). We miss all his joking too. Ashley (18) is preparing to graduate from highschool in a couple of months (for graduation we are having a big Luau "pig-in-the-ground" and all... so everyone is welcome on June 13th). Isabella(15) has the wild schedule between marching band, jazz band, piano, hula lessons, and on and on; we don't see her enough. Samson(13) is preparing for a Mount Whitney(highest peak in the lower states) hike this summer. I'm considering going along but we'll see how the warmup hikes go. Lilinoe (7) has decided that she wants to be an ice skater(why does this happen to those of us who live in the desert?) so we are working on that. Nicole is working feverishly to complete her thesis in time to recieve her M.A. and celebrate graduation with Ashley in June.
I'm including some photos of the girls below (oops I guess they went above)
We love you all and send you best wishes!! John & Nicole
